Sweden asks Iraq to accept repatriation of some 6,000 rejected asylum seekers
Sweden has asked Iraq to accept the repatriation of some 6,000 of its citizens who sought asylum here but were rejected, Swedish Radio News reports.
Foreign Minister Ann Linde was in the country this week asking officials to change their policy of only accepting citizens who return to Iraq voluntarily.
She also discussed the conflict along the Polish-Belarusian border where migrants - from Iraq and other countries - were stranded as they tried to enter the EU.
