Irish tot’s aunt delivers warning over EXPLODING Paw Patrol bath foam after he was rushed to hospital
Nickelodeon, who own the licence fr the Paw Patrol characters, are investigating the incident
A THREE-year-old Irish boy has been taken to hospital after a canister of Paw Patrol bath foam "exploded" while he was having a bath.
The little boy was being cared for at Belfast's Royal Hospital for Sick Children last night.
His aunt posted a picture of the bath foam on Facebook to warn other parents.
She has since told Belfast Live that the tot has "burns to the outside and inside of the body".
She said on Facebook: "Our nephew was in the bath tonight with this Paw Patrol Foam Soap and it exploded.
"He's been rushed to the hospital and has to go to the Royal."
Paw Patrol is an animated TV programme that is broadcast on Nickelodeon and is popular with kids.
It features a group of six rescue dogs, led by a tech-savvy boy named Ryder.
Nickelodeon confirmed that they had heard about the incident and that they were investigating the matter.
But they did not say whether or not the product would be withdrawn from sale.

A spokesperson for Nickelodeon said: “We are terribly sorry to hear about this dreadful incident and we are gathering more information about the licensed product involved.”
