This app works just as advertised. Simple, fast and effective. There seems to be a concerted effort to defame it by saying it does not recognize items. But it worked for everything I tried it on. If your bar code is not recognized, pull the phone back from the code slowly and it will recognize it. At the end it is just a scanner and comparison against a database. Not a lot can go wrong in app functionality. The real work is maintaining the lists. Kudos to the team on that.

Makes deciding what to purchase super easy. Allows for you to add products to the list with supporting evidence if you see an item you'd like to add. I've had trouble with the scanner only when the app needs to be updated. Once update goes through works smoothly. No ads. Only permission is for the camera. You don't have to use the scanner you can type in a search Bars for products. I recommend this app to everyone. Happy shopping! πππππ

Works Great! I been reading through all the brands on the list (which is very nice to look at btw) and scanning things around my house. The only problem is that for some of the links, like Subway, it went to a font website. I was looking because I work there, and it kept sending me to the wrong site. If that could be fixed, that would be great!
